Telephone Business Development Manager (4893)

If so, you could be a great fit to join our Intermediary team as a Telephone Business Development Manager. We are looking for a new person to join our busy team in a role in which you'll speak to other businesses including brokers and intermediary firms. You'll act as an expert on intermediary queries and conduct telephone and email campaigns to drive sales performance.

About the role
The role is phone based and you will build effective relationships with intermediary firms and brokers. You will take in bound calls from brokers and assess if the request meets our lending criteria, deal with general enquiries and take ownership of complaints. The team also use a web based chat system so any previous experience of a similar system will be beneficial.
What will you bring to the role?
We're looking for someone who can demonstrate:
- Proven business development experience (ideally business to business) with a track record of high performance delivery
- Strong influencing and communication skills
- Being an accomplished and effective relationship builder
- High energy, drive and enthusiasm
The following skills/experience would be desirable (but not essential):
- Knowledge or experience of the intermediary market with an understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements
- Experience of working in financial services
- Previous experience of communicating via live chat
