You will develop high quality, testable and software for our strategic projects as well as troubleshoot and resolve defects and support on the full life cycle including during user acceptance testing.
You will need to be experienced as a Developer working with the .Net framework including C# and VB, you'll also need the following:
- High expertise in problem solving, taking a broad perspective to identify solutions.
- Have excellent communications skills so you can guide the team and senior stakeholders in problem solving and solutions.
- Excellent planning and organisation skills.
- Experience of working in a project driven environment.
- Experience of Oracle would be advantageous but not essential.

Here are a few reasons why you might be interested in joining us…
- Our team and business are centered around community, people and society. You will be surrounded by people who are experts at what they do and are committed to helping you (and the society) achieve your aims.
- We have no time for hierarchy; you'll own your work, be accountable, collaborative, trusted and your ideas will be heard. We employ talented people who care about each other and the work they do, so you will need to be a good team player, self-motivated, proactive and customer orientated.
- We are changing, we are growing and we will need you to get stuck in. Your role will be challenging, interesting and demanding and has the scope to develop as quickly as you do.
- We talk about ‘members', not ‘customers'. And there's never a mention of ‘shareholders'. This is because Leeds Building Society is proudly a mutual society. We are owned by our members, the people who have mortgages and savings with us and that's how we've worked for 140 years
- Oh, and we have a brand new, modern, energy efficient Head Office in the heart of Leeds, where you get free tea and coffee every day! We offer hybrid and flexible working arrangements, we have electric car charging points, an excellent bonus scheme and you can even buy extra holiday days.
