Senior Microsoft Engineer (4179)
Are you a Microsoft Engineer looking for the next step in your career? Do you have experience of migration projects with Microsoft Exchange Online and Microsoft Exchange Server 2010-2016? And do you have experience of using Microsoft virtual technologies?
If so, we have the position for you! We are looking for a Senior Microsoft Engineer to join our Technology, Infrastructure & Corporate team as we work on a brand new migration project.

About the role
As a Senior Microsoft Engineer you will manage and maintain our Society's in-house technical and systems infrastructure with responsibilities including:
- Managing both project and service delivery
- Ensuring the availability of mission critical services
- Ensuring the provision of 3rd line technical support
- Technical delivery
- Development and maintenance of corporate standards
This is a great time to come on board as you will be working on a brand new migration project which is still at conception stage, so you will have the opportunity to really get stuck in and influence the end to end process.
What will you bring to the role?
We're looking for someone who can demonstrate:
- Significant expertise in the following: Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Server environments and supportive infrastructure, Microsoft 365 products and associated services, Microsoft Endpoint Management
- Excellent communication skills, in order to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to take ownership of issues from inception to resolution
- Knowledge of physical, logical and data technology migrations
