About the role
Are you experienced in service management and passionate about delivering a great service to your colleagues/customers? Do you love being a people manager and coaching and developing others?
We are looking for a Platform Run Lead to be responsible for the day-to-day operational support and service management of the platforms and services provided by both our internal and external service providers.
You'll be part of a fairly new team who have been formed to work closely with other internal teams and 3rd party service providers to support a number of our internal departments with systems such as QRM, Quantum, SAS and SAP Hana.
You'll look after a small team of Platform Support Analysts and allocate them tasks and incidents to deal with, all within agreed service levels.
You'll have the opportunity to be involved in some exciting new projects from initiation and helping to shape what the support models need to look like.
What will you bring to the role?
We're looking for someone who can demonstrate:
- Experience of running operational support teams and the service management (Major Incident/Problem/Change/Release) of diverse and complex IT solutions
- A qualification in ITIL
- Line management experience in an operational environment
- Effective stakeholder and supplier management
- Excellent analytical skills and a methodical approach to work
- A passion for great customer service
- Knowledge of QRM, Quantum, SAS and SAP Hana would be desirable (but not essential)
