About the role

We are currently looking to recruit a Data Analyst to join our data analysis team currently working on the exciting new transformation programme to replace our core banking solution as well as a range of mortgage related data projects.

The role will act as an intermediary between the business community and the technical community working with IT project teams and business clients to collect, clarify, and translate business requirements into technical documentation and conceptual design from which applications and solutions are developed. You will support the design process for inhouse and externally built systems including integration to existing and future technology landscapes.

You will use current knowledge of data and technology to recommend improvements to data use within existing systems and processes, performing ongoing monitoring and proposing refinement of data solutions in conjunction with current Society use whilst maintaining the data integrity of solutions and adherence to governance requirements and data and architectural principles.

 What will you bring to the role?

 An experienced Data Analyst with a focus on technical solution design

  • Intermediate SQL skills
  • Advanced knowledge of relational databases and prior experience of data mapping activities.
  • Experience of working on large complex projects across multiple teams/functions.
  • Experience of working collaboratively with internal stakeholders and third parties.
  • Financial/banking sector experience desirable but not essential.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
