Credit Policy Development Manager (4914)

About the role

We're looking for Credit Policy Development Manager to join our Credit Risk team.

As a Credit Policy Development Manager you will act as a subject matter expert on key strategic and BAU changes relating to Credit Criteria, Property Risk and Debt Management.

You will work closely with the wider Credit Risk Portfolio and Decisioning Teams and colleagues throughout the business to deliver Society credit risk policies and an assurance framework to enhance the credit risk management capabilities. This role also includes line management of a policy analyst.

 

What will you bring to the role?

 We're looking for someone who can demonstrate:

  • At least 5 years' experience of credit policy development and / or underwriting experience across secured retail products (Credit Decisioning, Property Risk and Debt Management)
  • Detailed understanding of, and effective application of all Regulations and Legislation relating to Secured lending.
  • Exposure to using automated decisioning engines for new and existing customer lending.
  • Proven track record of successful relationship management and liaison with external 3rd parties involved in supporting business origination, property risk assessments and debt management.
  • Proven track record of developing risk management expertise of others
