Brand Manager (4010)

At Leeds building society we're recruiting 2 Brand Managers, on both a permanent and 12 month fixed term basis, to join our brand team, initially working from home but then to spend some time at our lovely new offices on Sovereign Street in the heart of Leeds City Centre.

Driving member advocacy & sustainable growth through a strong compelling brand proposition is key to our success. We're looking for someone who can share this ambition and has a real passion and drive to make things happen and work in a fast-paced, high energy environment.
You'll be responsible for planning, development, execution and evaluation of annual brand plans in line with brand strategy, ensuring alignment with the wider Society. In this specific role you will lead on protecting and managing the Leeds Building Society reputation, driving forward online reviews, employer brand & colleague brand engagement, alongside other initiatives you'll have the autonomy to recommend and drive forward. You will work closely with other brand managers and the wider marketing team feeding into brand communications, building a consistent brand experience and identity.

You'll be driven to make things happen with a real passion for brands and a desire to achieve marketing excellence; Ability plan and gain buy in to well thought through brand strategies which connect and consider multiple touchpoints; Confidence to make a decision and deal with ambiguity, ensuring the appropriate action is taken; High degree of resilience and drive to keep going until there is a positive resolution; Pragmatic and creative approach to problem-solving.
Do you have the essential skills and experience for this role?
- Significant experience of effective brand management, planning and delivering successful brand building within a fast-paced marketing environment.
- Develop compelling brand proposition, across all brand touchpoints to consistently deliver brilliant brand activation and experience
- Strong agency/3rd party relationships/ senior stakeholder management.
- Strong influencer and decision maker
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure, meeting tight deadlines
- Strong commercial awareness, strategic and analytical skills
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to work well with others as part of a team
- Proven budget management experience
