How you'll make a difference

As a UX Researcher, you will carry out the full research lifecycle on all size projects, from gathering requirements to delivering findings and supporting product improvements.

As part of the Digital Experience team, you will work closely with the Senior UX Researcher and UX & UI Designers. You will also work across teams with Accessibility, Content, Service Designers, Product Owners and Analytics.

You'll be vital in growing the team's profile across the business and supporting designers to grow their research experience. This role offer's the opportunity and flexibility to use a range of different tools and methodologies.

What will you bring to the role?

  • Proven industry experience as a user experience (UX) researcher.
  • Proven experience of planning, running, and analysing a wide range of qualitative and quantitative user research methods, such as:
    • Moderated usability testing
    • Unmoderated usability testing
    • Surveys
  • Experience of user research tools, such as Lyssna, D-Scout, UserZoom, ContentSquare.
  • Experience of collaboration tools, such as Miro, Jira, Confluence.
  • Experience of design software such as Figma.
  • Experience using or managing a user research repository.
  • Experience of screening and recruiting research participants from a variety of sources.
  • Experience of storytelling, critiquing, facilitating and presenting.

  • Research method: How did you approach the research?
  • Output and impact: What were the results of your research and what was the impact? (e.g., how did the findings influence a decision, a product, or a new understanding?)
