How you'll help us live our purpose
We've been helping our members save for their future and buy a home of their own since 1875. By joining us, you'll play a big role in helping us to put home ownership within reach of more people, generation after generation.
It's a purpose that drives everything we do and one we're proud of. And you can play your part too as a DevOps Engineer ensuring we can automate, build and deploy solutions at pace that enables a strong foundation for the future.
How you'll make a difference
We are currently looking to recruit a DevOps Engineer to help build our DevOps capability for our new Core banking platform domain. Our Core programme is our largest transformation journey in our 150 year history.
As the DevOps Subject Matter Expert (SME) for this domain, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping how we manage our cloud-native SaaS Core banking ecosystem in-house. This is a unique opportunity to influence our DevOps capability within this domain platform, with the potential to grow into a more Senior DevOps role as our team expands.
You will drive automation across the full technology stack – from infrastructure and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to software and CI/CD tooling.
What you'll bring to the role:
- A strong background as a DevOps Engineer, ready for your next big challenge.
- Experience in executing technical changes and providing support in public cloud environments.
- Experienced in Azure DevOps.
- Experience administering and deploying development CI/CD tools
- Proficiency in Terraform and writing YAML for configuration and pipeline automation.
And in return, you'll get the best from us:
- An annual colleague bonus of up to 12%
- Hybrid working with 60% of your time at home
- Matched pension contributions of up to 10%
- 26 days holiday, plus bank holidays and holiday purchase scheme of up to 5 days each year
- Colleague Mortgage and Saver products
- Electric vehicle scheme
- 2 days' volunteering per year
We'll give you a place to belong with the support to learn, develop and shape a meaningful career.
