It's a purpose that drives everything we do.  And you can play your part too – join our dedicated Risk Division as our Company Secretary.

How you'll make a difference

Your exceptional leadership capabilities will inspire and empower, as you lead our Secretariat team and fulfil the role as Board Secretary.  This is a high-impact role, at the heart of our organisation; you'll support and advise the Chair and Directors, be the cornerstone of our corporate governance and lead on the successful AGM.

We're proud of our inclusive culture and you'll preserve and elevate this; inspiring people through authentic role modelling of our behaviours, while deliberately and consistently driving high performance as you coach and nurture talent.

What will you bring to the role?

  • Relevant Company Secretary experience at a senior level, with comprehensive knowledge of financial services.
  • Strong, visible leader who role models, cares, connects and coaches to drive performance, change, positive engagement and deliver against challenging objectives.
  • Strategic thinking.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and experience of working with and credibly influencing across a business – particularly with Board and ExCo.
  • A high degree of integrity and discretion, with the ability to confidentially handle sensitive matters.
  • Organised, agile and flexible; used to working in a dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and stakeholders.
  • Proficient communication skills, with an ability to confidently and constructively challenge

In return, you'll get the best from us:

  • Annual bonus up to 20%
  • Matched pension contributions up to 10%
  • Private Medical Insurance
  • 30 days holiday, plus bank holidays and holiday purchase scheme
  • Colleague Mortgage and Saver products
  • Electric vehicle / Cycle to Work scheme
  • 2 days' volunteering per year

We'll give you a place to belong with the support to learn, develop and shape a meaningful career.

You'll be joining a truly purpose-focused culture which helped us win the Leading with Purpose award at the 2023 Business Culture Awards. This recognises how we've embedded our purpose with our colleagues, and the actions we've taken to put home ownership within reach of more people, generation after generation.
