We believe life at LBS is more than just a place to a work - it's a home for you to thrive and grow. Whatever path you want your career to take, we want you to grow with us and achieve your potential. That means giving the space and support to succeed, and offering opportunities for you to be at your best and shape a career that's right for you.
That's why we're pleased to tell you about an opportunity to join our Core programme as a Data Architect/Data Model Lead on a six-month secondment.
How you'll make a difference:
In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring our new data models evolve in a controlled, consistent way. You'll work hands‑on with data models and collaborate with design and build squads to coordinate and oversee model changes across the Core programme.
You'll:
- Act as a point of coordination for data model changes.
- Work closely with Data & Reporting and Migration teams to ensure proposed changes are clearly understood and accurately captured
- Assess the impact of model changes and feed them into the appropriate design and build workstreams for approval and implementation
- Help ensure data structures remain fit for purpose, well‑governed, and aligned to operational, analytical and reporting needs
This is a great opportunity for a data person who enjoys combining data knowledge with collaboration and governance, and who wants to broaden their impact beyond a single dataset or team.
What will you bring to the role?
- A base understanding of data modelling concepts (tables, unique ID's, data types).
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to track, regulate, and prioritise incoming model changes.
- Clear and confident communication skills, enabling you to work effectively with a wide range of senior stakeholders
- An analytical mindset
